English Name Hello! My name is Lily. I’m a primary school student in China. You might think that Lily is a very common name, but it’s special to me. I chose this name because I love flowers, especially lilies. They are so beautiful and make me happy. I also like my English name because it’s easy for people to remember and pronounce. My Chinese name is a bit harder for non-Chinese speakers to say, so Lily is perfect for when I introduce myself to my foreign friends. Learning English is very important to me. I want to be able to travel around the world and communicate with people from different countries. English is also a useful skill for my future studies and career. My school has a great English program. We learn English every day and have native English-speaking teachers who help us improve our pronunciation and listening skills.
