Siyu: My Journey of Growth and Achievements As I reflect on my journey of growth and achievements, I cannot help but think of the impact that my name, Li Siyu, has had on me. Growing up, I was constantly reminded of the meaning behind my name. “Li” means “plum,” which represents resilience, perseverance, and endurance. “Siyu” means “thinking universe,” which represents my curiosity, intelligence, and love for exploration. These qualities have defined who I am today and have shaped my journey towards success. Academically, I have always been driven to excel. I pursued my undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science, which equipped me with the foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in the tech industry. I have since worked as a software engineer for several leading tech companies, developing cutting-edge products and services. I have received numerous accolades for my work, including the “Innovator of the Year” award at my current company. Beyond my professional accomplishments, my name has also played a role in my personal growth. As a child, I was shy and introverted. But with the support of my family and friends, I learned to be more confident and outgoing.
