Name is Qin - Learning English as a Chinese Speaker Hello, my name is Qin. I am a native Chinese speaker, born and raised in China. I love learning languages, and English is one of my favorites. However, it hasn't been an easy journey for me to become fluent. I started learning English in elementary school, but back then, it was more of memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules than actual communication skills. The English classes were often focused on reading and writing, which didn't leave much room for speaking and listening practice. I have found that one of the most helpful ways to improve my English skills is to watch TV shows and movies in English, with subtitles in English as well. I have discovered that reading books in English has not only expanded my vocabulary but also helped me to improve my grammar and sentence structure. Learning English has opened many doors for me.
